McBeth's 18-Under on ESPN (HQ)
Here's the high-quality version of Paul McBeth's 18-under highlights as seen on ESPN's SportsCenter! Many, MANY thanks to the disc golf crowd at ESPN for helping get this on the air. They're out there, and we have a feeling their discs are going to be flying a little more straight this week.

ESPN’s SportsCenter aired an entire highlight package Monday night of Paul McBeth’s insane 18-under round at the Great Lakes Open in a dedicated segment.
Of course, that means disc golf fans and the uninitiated sports fanatics alike were treated to a primetime spotlight. Here’s a sample of their reactions:
Professional disc golfer Paul McBeth finishes with 40 under par over three days to win the Great Lakes Open. These are the sports I need my @sportscenter to cover — and they did tonight. pic.twitter.com/XmeVDcyAnL

Tonight @sportscenter ran a highlight of frisbee golf about a man named MacBeth. @Buccigross made an epic highlight read quoting Shakespeare throughout. Legendary.
— Tom DeCorte (@TPD3) July 10, 2018
Listening to @Buccigross quote #Macbeth while showing @Paul_McBeth play disc golf on #ESPN was magical.
— tom latorre (@katothepug) July 10, 2018
I could listen to @Buccigross do disc golf highlights FOREVER! @espn #Macbeth
— Tony Headrick (@tonyheadrick) July 10, 2018
Sportscenter gave a full highlight package to a disc golf tourney and I am quite literally in tears. I know that's weird, I don't care.

Neil Everett and Stan Verett Sportscenter is the best Sportscenter. Especially when they show frisbee golf. Do more of this and you will be credible again.
— Adam (@AdamScottB) July 10, 2018
Kinda confused why frisbee golf is on ESPN but I can't stop watching it
— Will VanHoose (@WillVanHoose) July 10, 2018
Love the Frisbee Golf highlight from Neil Everett on @SportsCenter especially for showing off the local knowledge by mentioning the @HBSurfCityUSA course

Normally when ESPN covers sports like cornhole and hot dog eating, it’s silly, but I was really into those disc golf highlights. I’m all in.
— Brad Whitaker (@thebradwhitaker) July 10, 2018
Disc golf on sportcenter would be miles more entertaining than the 24/7 “Is Lebron better than MJ” and “What will Lavar Ball say next?” coverage. Plus, that means you can watch an actual SPORT on SPORTScenter, a concept that has seemed to have been lost to time.
— Josh Gindt (@Gindtis) July 10, 2018
I cannot believe I just saw two minutes of disc golf highlights on ESPN.
— Harrison Beeby (@HarrisonBeeby) July 10, 2018
Man, I’d watch me some frolf over cornhole on @Espn any day of the week.
— DonkeyLips (@TheDonkeyLips) July 10, 2018
Wait. When did Sportscenter start showing frisbee golf highlights?
— ???-??? ??✌? (@TheNoLookPass) July 10, 2018
Am I really watching frisbee golf highlights on Sportcenter?
— Kinda Like Shaft (@justmike74) July 10, 2018
Ok, my new favorite thing is @SportsCenter anchors pretending to be excited about frisbee golf.
— Russ Windmillersma (@jamestimmer) July 10, 2018
Bruh they're really covering frisbee golf on ESPN
— No juice gawd (@_Champ__) July 10, 2018
40 under!? Sounds like he’s bad for the game. Make these courses tougher!!!
— Sean (@Sean_Domingo22) July 10, 2018
Does he get a green windbreaker?
— P. T. (@teuf4) July 10, 2018
Most don’t appreciate the amount of skill this takes
— J (@jmetz75) July 10, 2018
Disc golf is one of the most entertaining sports to watch. Skill the top players have his unreal. It’s just so hard to film. Glad Sportscenter is realizing the future.
— InTheDeedTheGlory (@GBRHead) July 10, 2018
You think this is the first time I saw this, my man?! Brother, I watched the whole tournament – you can, too: https://t.co/vK61NXcy32
BTW, it's being called "The Greatest Round of Disc Golf Ever Played." You feel the itch to throw some plastic, yet? LMK …
— Lucas Miller ?? (@EchelonCopy) July 10, 2018
If you remember when @espn was first launched, they probably would have broadcasted the entire event in between Australian rules football and World's strongest man.
— Andrew K (@Andrew_K_42) July 10, 2018
who would have thought a sport we used to play in our backyard and then the schoolyard would be on @SportsCenter
— cj papa (@cjpapa13) July 10, 2018
Darren i really like you right now. Disc Golf is the best kept secret out there.
— El Jefe (@TheNaturaI) July 10, 2018
TBH both Disc Golf & Ultimate Frisbee get no where near the kind of exposure they deserve for being two of the fastest growing sports in the world!
— 360WitADiscBro (@Shotime707) July 10, 2018
It’d be much more interesting to watch this in the morning than Get Up!
— Adam Richardson (@AdamR0923) July 10, 2018
Disc golf > golfing ?️♀️
— Eric Jr (@Tangaroo215) July 10, 2018
Wait sportscenter knows there is sports outside of the nba and nfl?
— Thomas Weldrn (@thomas_weldrn) July 10, 2018
Understandable, but think of how huge that was for us disc golfers who really want to see the sport grow!
— Ryan Miller (@TopFloorRyan) July 10, 2018
Disc golf on sportcenter would be miles more entertaining than the 24/7 “Is Lebron better than MJ” and “What will Lavar Ball say next?” coverage. Plus, that means you can watch an actual SPORT on SPORTScenter, a concept that has seemed to have been lost to time.
— Josh Gindt (@Gindtis) July 10, 2018
So it should make sense to add disc golf, a sport growing insanely fast, to the programming especially in the dog days of summer when the only big sport playing is baseball.
— Josh Gindt (@Gindtis) July 10, 2018
your freakin kidding me. I rule at disc golf! I'll be announcing where I'll be taking my talents as soon as I figure out how to turn pro. Stay tuned for my commitment video.
— Mike Cross (@MikeCro12726215) July 10, 2018
Better than the NBA.
— Greg ?? (@GGT757) July 10, 2018
So @SportsCenter did a highlight tonight about a frisbee golf player named McBeth, so naturally they used Macbeth quotes to go along with the highlights. Amazing.
— Randall J Flack (@randall_jflack) July 10, 2018
Huzzah to the @SportsCenter anchor who dropped a ton of quotes from the Scottish play during a segment on a disc golfer (!) named McBeth.

Unbelievable round!! Disc Golf just keeps growing and growing. Sports world starting to take notice
